Tomorrow, I will pack up the car and head to the east coast of Florida to a sleepy beachside community known as Melbourne (aka “Mel-boring”). I will be attending a 20 year reunion with my classmates from Melbourne High School – home of the Bulldogs!  Hard to believe it’s been 20 years already. Seems like just yesterday I was teasing my hair and wearing an armful of neon pink and black rubber bracelets.

Oh how I miss the 80′s. Big hair, lace gloves, parachute pants, leg warmers…. I don’t really miss that part. What I do miss is high school. Not many people would want to relive their teenage years but I would in a heartbeat. It was the time of my life. Many of my high school friends are still my friends today although it’s mostly through Facebook and MySpace. I’m really looking forward to reconnecting in person.

So this weekend, I’m putting my troubles behind me and spending 3 glorious days beachside with my honey and some great friends, catching up on old times and just being a goyle.
