So how do you win? Here’s the fun part (for me, anyway): A Job Search Haiku Contest!

What’s a haiku?

A haiku is a form of Japanese poetry that consists of three metrical phrases of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively.
Here’s an example:

Job searching is hard
it’s almost a full time job
someone hire me!

Now that you know what a haiku is, it’s time to put your thinking cap on and come up with your most creative haiku that relates to your job search. To submit your entry, simply reply to this post. You will have until Friday, June 5 at 5pm EST. At that point, I will create a poll here with the haiku entries and allow voting to begin. The best haiku wins! Simple as that. In order for your haiku to qualify it must actually be a haiku and follow the standard haiku format of 5,7,5.
