Dixie visits Santa, and has words of wisdom
Dixie was SO excited to go see Santa this year. She knew EXACTLY what she wanted, after all, we had written a letter to him already. When we wrote, she asked for exactly 3 things (in her words): A Dora birthday cake movie, a Dora leap pad game, and a Bratz doll.
Fast forward to Saturday, when we actually saw Santa. We waited over an hour, and finally the moment arrived. It was her turn! She smiled from ear to ear as she crawled up into Santa’s lap, eyeballing Mrs. Claus as if she was up to something. She sat up, tall and proud and told Santa, “I want a Rainbow Monkey and a pillow and a new kitchen!”

Then, she smiled oh so sweetly, wearing her title of “Spoiled”, proudly.

Now the words of wisdom part:
This morning she asks me for the 1209234349th time, “momma, what time till Santa gets here?”. I reply, “Another 19 days, Dixie. Only 15 more days till momma’s birthday!”. She says, “but then you will be a grown up?” and I say, “momma’s already a grown up.” To which she replies, “but then you won’t have birthdays anymore!” Who knew it was that easy, just be a grownup! No more birthdays!
